Urinary Tract Infection

Urinary Tract Infections limited to your bladder can be painful and annoying. But serious consequences can occur if the infection spreads to your kidneys. Women are most at risk of developing a UTI. In fact, half of all women will develop a UTI during their lifetimes, and many will experience more than one.The urinary system is composed of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra. All play a role in removing waste from your body.

Some people suffer from chronic UTI which means they keep getting infection once every few months.Homeopathy has effective remedies to totally treat this recurrent urinary infection. At Hussain Kaisrani’s Homeopathy,we have been successfully treating patients suffering with Urinary Tract Infections for the last several years. This is done with the unique combinations of homeopathic remedies which Hussain Kaisrani has developed with his past 25 years of experience treating patients.

Chronic urinary tract infection:
Urinary tract infection is something that all of us have had at some point or the other. We get a lot of people who are on antibiotics for urinary tract infection, asking us if we can help them.

How common are chronic Urinary tract infections?
Around 11% of the population suffers from chronic urinary tract infections.

Symptoms of urinary tract infections:
The number of times you pass urine increases and you will feel the need to urinate even after passing the urine, you might eventually pass only a few drops of urine or do not pass at all while still feeling the need to urinate. You feel a burning sensation while passing urine and you might also have lower abdominal pain or back pain. You take some medicines and feel better, that is fine. But if these symptoms come back again every month, then it is called as chronic urinary tract infection.

Both men and women suffer from chronic urinary tract infections, it is more commonly seen in older women during menopause.

Allopathic approach:
When you have an acute urinary tract infection, you go to the allopathic doctor, he will give you an antibiotic, you will be fine, end of the story. But you have symptoms again, you go back, get investigations, urine culture done, and find out that there is E-Coli infection and the doctor gives you a different set of antibiotics. It happens the third time, you go to the doctor again, this becomes messy. How long will you go on taking antibiotics? Antibiotics have their own side effects. There is no solution for chronic urinary tract infection in allopathy.

Homeopathic approach:
We get a lot of people who have already taken 3 to 4 courses of antibiotics and have not got better. Homeopathic medicines have a miraculous cure for urinary tract infection, we are able to help so many people overcome this problem.

Once you start taking homeopathic medications for chronic urinary tract infection, I am not saying that you will not get infections again but the frequency of infections will come down. If you get a urinary infection once a month, you will probably get it once in 2 months, 3 months but it will come down in the form of a graph. The intensity and frequency will come down slowly. You will not need antibiotics anymore, we can take care of you with our medications. Over a period of time, the urinary tract infections will stop coming.

People who are already on allopathic medicines:
(We ask them to stop their allopathic medications and start homeopathy medications. Most of the people respond within 2 to 3 months.)

What happens if you don’t treat Urinary tract infections?
(If left alone, chronic urinary tract infection may spread to the bladder and the kidneys leading to impaired kidney function.)

Do’s and Don’ts:
Drink plenty of water, coconut water, buttermilk, citralka, barley water, cranberry juice. The more you drink water, the more your urine will get alkaline and you get better.

What would I do if I were in your place?
I would for sure not take antibiotics. I know that I am not risking anything by giving Homeopathy around 3 to 6 months to try to get rid of recurrent urinary tract infections.

Do not start on any allopathic medications until you have given Homeopathy a try for at least about three to six months. Trust me, nothing is going to happen to you in these three to six months’ time. But if these medicines can help you avoid antibiotics, prevent recurrent infections, and get rid of your urinary tract infections for the rest of your life, isn’t it worth giving it a try?

Take care. Stay safe.
